Organic Farmer educates children. This past Monday I gave an educational lecture on benefits of Ecological Farming to our environment.
I visited grade 6 French class at a North Toronto school and gave this presentation both in French and English. The children enjoyed learning new vocabulary and tasting organic carrots, radishes, and turnips.
The biggest excitement derived when the children had a chance to collect the radish seeds form the dried out radish pods. The subject of Organic Farming was not “foreign” to the children as they actively participated in the presentation. Everyone enjoyed the slide show with photos from the farm where Organic Farmer cultivates healthy organic pesticides free vegetables.

The children had an opportunity to taste organic carrots (cosmic purple, ya-ya, and yellowstone) as well as turnips.
