A Snake in the Straw

Surprise, Surprise, this morning upon arriving at the farm we found a snake taking a nap in the bail of straw. We use the straw to cover the soil to prevent the sun from drying out all the moisture in the soil. Having a snake on the farm is actually very beneficial because it hunts the mice which can be quite problematic to our vegetables.

We are friends with our snake ๐Ÿ™‚ which is absolutely non-venomous and poses no harm to us humans. All it wants is juts the mice and both of us feel pretty comfortable around each other ๐Ÿ™‚ Let the snake have some fame for a change; take a look at a few photos:
