Recently there has been a lot of things going on on the farm. Between frequent raining and rare sun days both of us are coming to the farm in order to accomplish as much as we can. At this time of the growing season (August) we no longer plant any new seeds accept the “loyal” radishes which grow predictably even in very harsh soil and weather conditions.
In addiction, at the beginning of August we decided to plant one bed of organic carrots, red beets, spinach and swiss chards. We realize this could be too late and they may not develop into a full grown vegetable yet we are taking the risk. As long as there is daylight, warm weather and water this taken risk may turn successful. Β As of now our work consists of taking care and maintaining current beds with organic vegetables until they are ready for harvest. We do not forget to have fun at the farm; see the below photos π
